Attorney Derya Yurteri Çetin

Attorney Derya Yurteri Çetin is a graduate of Ankara University’s Faculty of Law. She has completed her legal internship with the Ankara Bar Association and is registered under license number 30892 to practice law within the jurisdiction of the same association.

Having earned her Master’s degree in Information Law from Hacettepe University’s Faculty of Law, Attorney Çetin is actively overseeing compliance projects for both domestic and international individuals, as well as public institutions, under Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 6698, also known as “KVKK”) and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In addition, Attorney Derya Yurteri Çetin holds the esteemed designation of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the European Union. She is also globally certified as a Lead Auditor for the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System and the ISO/IEC 27701:2019 Personal Data Management System.

Providing consultancy services in matters related to Turkish Law for Turkish citizens residing abroad, Attorney Çetin actively manages legal matters pertaining to foreign service debt. Her areas of practice include Information Law, Personal Data Protection Law, Labor and Social Security Law, Insurance Law, Family Law, Inheritance Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Contracts Law, and Execution and Bankruptcy Law.
